As a chiropractor, acupuncturist, and former Pilates instructor, I highly recommend Breathe Diversity Pilates on Brookwood in Santa Rosa. In addition to using them personally, this is the only Pilates studio to which I refer my patients.

In my opinion, Breathe Diversity Pilates provides the highest quality Pilates instruction in all of Sonoma County. Their instructors must complete 2,500 hours of training before being certified to lead classes, versus only 500 hours at corporate Pilates studios.

Based on my experience, 500 hours is not enough time to learn how to properly teach Pilates and, as a doctor, I’m concerned that people will be prone to injuries due to inadequate teacher training.
