Who We Are

Breathe Diversity Pilates + Fitness opened in 2017 with a vision to create an inclusive Pilates space. Today, as we continue to serve and adapt to our community, our mission remains the same: to provide private sessions and group classes that emphasize functional strength, vitality and confidence delivered at the highest industry standards.

Led by owners with over 20 years of experience, our teachers work as a collective, continually refining their craft through regular practice and in-house workshops. We share a common belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to feel grounded, strong and confident in their body. Through encouraging, focused classes and private sessions, we aim to inspire body-positivity, mental resilience and a true sense of belonging that breaks down barriers to wellness.

We Believe

Being part of a diverse exercise community creates a love of fitness, encourages consistency and elevates the body, mind and spirit.

  • I’ve become noticeably stronger, more flexible, and more in tune with how I move and carry myself throughout the day. But beyond the physical benefits, what’s kept me coming back to BDP is the incredible sense of community. The teachers are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in each person’s growth.  Plus, the vibe in the room—thanks to the people—is always upbeat and welcoming, which keeps me coming back. BDP classes are more than a workout—they are the grounding part of my week.

  • I’ve been taking Pilates classes from Sherrese for at least 5 or 6 years. Initially, the classes interested me because I didn’t know what Pilates was and because they were offered free to Hospital staff. To be perfectly honest I HATE every minute of exercise and I’m watching the clock the whole time. What keeps me coming back twice per week is Sherrese’s teaching style. She’s tough and pushes us to do things we think aren’t physically possible – like holding a plank. All with her wonderful sense of humor! She also changes it up so we’re never bored!

I ALWAYS leave class glad I came! I also know my core is strong because of Sherrese!”

  • I love working out here! I’ve had a lot of back pain issues and Pilates has helped me strengthen my core and feel stronger. The studio has a large range of instructors to learn from with lots of time options and difficulty levels for classes, in addition to one-on-one training. There are also more cardio/weights focused classes to help fill out your workouts. And everyone is very supportive and friendly. I look forward to my workouts here and love how much stronger my body has become thanks to everyone at Breathe Diversity Pilates.
