Heather is a comprehensive Pilates teacher and certified personal trainer, focused on corrective exercises and trauma-informed recovery. A constant student of life and movement systems, she invites her students to settle their nervous systems and step into their highest strength and wholeness.
Heather is also certified as a Sivananda Yoga instructor. Heather’s tenure at Yoga Journal inspired her to deepen her practice. After over a decade of practicing yoga, in 2010, Heather completed an Iyengar Yoga practitioner training program based on the methods, practices, and theory of Shadow Yoga and Classical Hatha Yoga.
In addition to her love of movement, Heather is a foster parent and involved in the community as a resource family. She proudly wears the stretch marks on her heart.
