Maggie Brickner

NASM Personal Trainer, a 500ERYT Yoga Teacher, and Therapist, a Pre/Postnatal Yoga-Instructor, and a TONE Mat and Equipment Pilates Trainer

When Maggie took her first yoga class at age 16, her relationship with fitness changed forever.
She never felt at home in her school gym class, but this felt like a different kind of workout: It challenged her to connect to her body. Maggie’s love of yoga opened new opportunities to explore the art of movement. She took fitness classes ranging from step aerobics to indoor cycling and eventually, felt called to teach. As a yoga and later Pilates instructor, Maggie found a passion for helping people step into their strength, flexibility and path to healing.

After Maggie was diagnosed with Uterine cancer in her early 60s, her Pilates community supported and continues to support her throughout her healing process. Having experienced its benefits first-hand, Maggie believes that Pilates can be an incredible tool for healing from injuries and trauma.

In addition to teaching mat and equipment Pilates and yoga, Maggie loves to swim. Like a Pilates reformer, she finds that water is a lesson in resistance. It can be both gentle and strong.
