Amy began her teaching journey in 2015 with our very own Sonya Snyder and Monica Anderson at Tone. She first gained her Pilates mat certification and then completed her Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Certification with trainer and mentor, Gwen Miller. Amy has been teaching for over 8 years, but practicing for over 12.
Amy loves how she feels after a pilates session. Through a judgement free, and humorous way, she introduces mind body connection, flow, and flexibility to her classes and sessions. She finds that pilates leaves her feeling balanced and restored both physically and mentally, and finds joy in bringing that to the studio. Amy truly adores her role as a Pilates Teacher and strives to help others live a healthier and more fulfilled lifestyle.
When Amy is not teaching, she can be found gardening or hiking with her dog, Charlie. She loves to fill her weekends with adventures, exploring the coast, river, or redwoods. She has a loving husband, and two beautiful young children.
