Heather Fineren is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor. In 2017 she earned her Balanced Body Pilates certifications (Mat I and II and Reformer I and II). In 2000, she earned her Yoga Teaching Certification through the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. A constant student of the human movement system, she deepened her practice and teaching through the Iyengar Yoga method while working at Yoga Journal Magazine and in 2010 completed the in-depth Practitioner Training Program based in the methods, practices, and theory of Shadow Yoga and Classical Hatha Yoga. She is presently studying Corrective Exercise through NASM, and working toward her Comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates Certification.
Heather’s love of Yoga, Pilates and body movement is contagious. She inspires and empowers students to safely explore their bodies - to heal and grow stronger, more supple, balanced and healthy.
